MUHBA OLIVA ARTÉS
The project revives a 1920s industrial building as a museum, preserving its unique structure and textures. Originally marked for demolition, community intervention saved it, leading to a design competition in 2009. The design emphasizes minimal additions, using a golden material for new elements like a porch along the main façade. Despite budget constraints, the project progresses in phases, prioritizing essential features while maintaining architectural integrity. The result is a blend of old and new, serving as a cultural hub for various activities and highlighting the value of architectural recycling.
